school's out

Hi again everyone. Thank you for your support for our projects during the past school term. It has been a good experience for us, meeting people from the community and learning of their daily lives and needs. They have been very grateful for the assistance that we have been able to provide them with and we have had lots of positive feedback. This work has been very much appreciated on all sides of the community.

As it is now the end of the school year there will be a break for two months during which we will not be assisting the children with daily school needs. We will continue to support the old people who have little or no income with our remaining funds during the break.

The new school year starts again in May. This is a time of particular difficulty when school fees, uniforms and books etc. need to be paid for. It is often at these crucial times that parents or caregivers pull their children out of school. We are hoping to continue with our current programme during the next school year and expand if resources permit. Once again thanks everyone for your support.
