A new school term has just begun and Odet has recently added a new member to the number of students it supports. He is Kit (21) currently studying English at Rajabhat University Kanchanaburi. Kit is from Tongpapoom 160 km north of Kanchanaburi where he lives with his retired parents. Having overcome numerous difficulties he is determined to complete his studies.

Odet has recently added three new children to those being assisted with education support.

Paeng, is 11 years old and is in her 5th year of primary school at a nearby temple school. Paeng's father died a few years back from a sudden illness and she now lives with her aunt, grandmother and cousins.

Pear goes to a local government school where she excels at maths. She lives with her father who is a building labourer. Pear is 11 years old.

Ti Lek is five years old. He is in kindergarten  His father died after a fall earlier in the year. He now lives with his mother, a food vendor, and his elder brother who is physically disabled. 

Hello again everyone! The final school term has finished and the four children currently being supported by ODET have all completed their school year successfully. We Have not yet formally joined the Thai NGO due to some unfortunate setbacks but we still plan to go ahead with that programme later in the year, all being well. I live with my grandparents and I'm good at running. Hello, I'm Ja. I'm 13 years old and I live with my father and my elder brother. I like football, and rabbits. I have just finished junior school. Next term I will move to a nearby high school. Hi My name is Bier. I'm eight years old and I have just finished year two of junior school. I came tenth in my class of over fifty. Next term I'll be in year three. Hello my name is Gong and I'm thirteen. I live with my father who is a rickshaw driver. My mother died last year. I have just finished my first year of high school and passed all subjects. I also like to play badminton. Here is my motto: "Wherever there is effort, there will be success".
