ODET has recently begun to assist two more children with their education needs. They are Mos and Mae who are brother and sister. 

Here is a picture of Mae on the way to school. She is eight years old and lives with her four elder brothers and sisters and her father. Mae's mother passed away recently. Her father is a casual labourer.

This is Mos who is ten and goes to the same school as Mae in Nakorn Pathom Province.

Hello everyone! It's May again and the start of another school year in Thailand.

Summer has been exceptionally hot. Now the monsoon season is just getting started, bringing rain. 

And cool breezes in the evenings.

                                                                        Nong Ink
Odet has just started to assist three new children. They are Ink (above) who is 6 years old. Ink has just started her first year of school this week at a nearby temple school Wat Srilo and likes it so far.

                                                                        Ormsin
Her sister Ormsin takes care of her at school. She is 7 years old. They live with their grandparents on limited resources. Odet will be able to provide them with the means to buy school books, bags, shoes etc and a stipend for lunch during the coming school year.

                                                                           Not

Not, a cousin of Ink and Ormsin, is 9 years old and also lives with their grandparents. He is in the class above them at Wat Srilo temple school.

Yai works from home doing laundry work, washing and ironing.
