Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from Odet

Amazingly Odet is now coming towards the end of its tenth year. Congratulations to everyone who has made it possible.

Looking back on some of the students. Where are they now?





Khai passed his difficult Civil Service exams and recently received a permanent government teaching position at a high school in rural Srisawat District to the north of Kanchanaburi state.

Chompoo also passed the Civil Service exam and had at first taken a temporary teaching position but has now also received a permanent government teaching position in the hot springs region of Ban Hin Dat in Kanchanaburi state.

Tao meanwhile received the good news that he has been granted Thai citizenship and is now awaiting a job offer near his home by the Burmese border.

Kanoket has also returned to her home in the border region upon completion of her studies.





Susaeh is still studying for his teacher's degree. Currently, he is in his fourth year.  He has little chance at this stage of getting Thai citizenship and will most likely accept an off-the-grid job in a community school. He will complete his Teacher’s Degree in May 2020

My name is Susueh and I'm from Kanchanaburi Rajabat Uinversity.  Now I am studying in the 4th year of English education faculty.My major is 5 years study and I will finish my 5 year study and training teaching  in  May 2020.Thank you so much for your scholars and your kindness.May God richly bless you all.

Parichat is now 15 years old and has completed her first years of high school doing well in Maths and Science.

Mae now attends school regularly and is entering her final year of primary school in Kampaengsaen district of Nakorn Pathom. 

Odet would also like to welcome Chanaporn who is eleven years old and studying in her final year of primary school in Nakorn Pathom.

Chanaporn lives with her guardian and enjoys science. She would like to grow up to be a chef.
